Act Creation Workshops
2 bespoke Creative Workshops to help with either a pre-existing idea or some fundamental starting points for Circus Act Creation.
Lydia will run specialised workshops bringing all of her knowledge from working as Artistic Director of LEAP and Cirque du Soleil and Associate Director for Tangled Feet, Silver Lining, Extraordinary Bodies and NCCA.

Workshop 1 : Act Creation Fundamentals
This workshop is perfect if you are a recreational student working on a scratch night, a degree student or recent graduate or even a new Circus Artist and need some help getting started with a new act.
It will involve exercises in starting points, musicality, storytelling, costuming and framing an act for an audience.
When? : 26th October @ 18:00 - 20:30
Where? : The Roundhouse, Camden
Price : £45 per participant
This workshop will be for 10 people and will be a mix of exercises on and off your equipment.
Workshop 2 : Existing Act Development
This will be a more specialised workshop, for only 4 participants with existing or work-in-progress acts. It will be a personalised deep dive into the essence of your act with a mix of 1-on-1 time and group work.
This workshop would be great for anyone who already has an act they want to develop or is half way through an act creation.
When? : 26th October @ 14:00 - 17:00
Where? : Roundhouse, Camden
Price : £90 per participant
This workshop will be 4 participants and will involve a lot of time spent working with your own equipment.
